Chefs’ Dinner is Cookie Cart’s annual premiere fundraising event curated by renowned chef and restaurant consultant, Pat Weber. Chef Pat, along with local celebrity chefs, prepare a one-of-a-kind gourmet food experience for Cookie Cart guests.  A dynamic program will be woven throughout the evening featuring the success stories of Cookie Cart youth employees, silent and live auctions, live entertainment, and our most significant giving moment of the year. This event creates a unique opportunity for the community to come together in celebration of the many successes of the year, and to fund the future growth and accomplishments of Cookie Cart.

Among the chefs, we are proud to feature Chef Gerard Klass of Soul Bowl, Chef Vincent Francoual of Chloe, Chef Mateo Mackbee of Krewe in St. Joseph, Kris Koch of Farmers Kitchen + Bar, Chef Will Nolte of Martes Tacos, Chef LaShaun Grave’s of Appetite for Change, Pastry Chef Alicia Hinze of The Buttered Tin, Pastry Chef Sarah Bush of The Copper Hen, and Lindsay Pohlad of Grocers Table!

This will no doubt be an invigorating evening as we come together in celebration of 35 years of successful investment in Twin Cities’ teens.

Cookie Cart is a youth social enterprise that teaches life, leadership, and employment skills for teens of color through on-the-job and classroom experiences in two nonprofit bakeries. We work with teens in North Minneapolis and the East Side of Sant Paul. We seek equitable communities where Cookie Cart alumni thrive and lead. We value the potential of every young person, equity and opportunity, the power of relationships, and compassionate accountability.
